The Impacts of Plastic Waste

The impacts of plastic waste are widespread to some of the most remote places on the planet. In fact, scientists have found plastic debris in the digestive tracts of over 86% of sea turtle species. As the amount of plastic waste and debris on the planet rises, we, at The Mod Cabin, want to do everything we can to reduce the plastic products we use and discard.

Addressing The Plastic Waste Problem

To help combat the growing plastic and waste problem, the majority of our packaging is, intentionally, green and easily recyclable (Read How To Recycle it here).

However, we would like to go a bit further.

We have decided to take another stride to reduce the plastic we use in our products. In the next few weeks, we will begin shipping our 2oz. bottles with recyclable, metal, twist off caps instead of our standard plastic pumps and sprayers.

What If I Still Want A Pump

If you want or need a plastic pump or fine mist sprayer, just let us know in your order notes and we will include one. We highly recommend reusing the pump or sprayer on your current bottle (if the product scent is the same). Simply move it to your new bottle instead of throwing it away before recycling your empty glass bottles.
