The Nomadic Beardsman of the Bluegrass bring you Whiskers,Whiskey and Women

The Nomadic Beardsman of the Bluegrass  are back to bring you the third ever Whiskers, Whiskey and Women Beard Competition on February 1st 2014.

Whiskers,Whiskey and Women is Lexington's finest, friskiest, totally egalitarian facial hair competition & celebration!  This non-profit event will benefit the Central Kentucky chapter of Kentuckians for the Commonwealth.

Categories include:

1) Mustache Natural ('stache only)
2) Mustache Styled ('stache only)
3) Partial Beard with 'stache (styled 'stache optional)
4) Partial Beard w/o 'stache (Natural)
5) FREESTYLE!
6) Most realistic fake facial hair
7) Most fantastic fake facial hair
8) Gentleman's Beard (<4")
9) Full Beard Natural (<8")
10) Full Beard Supernatural (>8")
11) Full Beard with styled 'stache
12) Best Club

And just to make sure people don't take the competition too seriously and in the spirit of having fun, the Nomads are having a 'Ladies Leg Hair' category. This category will take place first and will have its own special award. This serves as your official stop shaving your legs notice, ladies. Thank you and may your legs be long and furry.

The Nomadic Beardsmen of the Bluegrass began when Darrell Anderson started growing his beard out with some of his buddies from his softball team. Darrell liked his beard so much he decided he wanted to start a beard club. Darrell teamed up with Isaac Benson and Stoney Southpaw and next thing you know the Nomadic Beardsmen of the Bluegrass was born!

They have been growin' awesome beards, having fun and doing great things for local charities ever since.

And this year, The Mod Cabin is proud to announce we will be providing prizes for the Whiskers, Whiskey and Women III Competition.
